This is a track worth playing many repeated times. In particular I love the melodic "breathing" parts.

@:¬l: Granular synthesis was involved to a certain degree, yes, though the high-pitched sounds were mostly achieved (iirc) by playing around with a certain organ sound and adding lots of reverb and other simple audio effects later on.

@c.cu: That is nice, if I remember correctly most of this track was recorded during one of those hot sticky nights in early July when the air just wouldn't cool down until the very early morning hours.

the slow evolution and orchestral flavour is working wonderfully with the very heavy rain outside my window. One of those happy moments when all balances.
