SONIC ART sonic art, sound art, electroacoustic music, experimental... NO BEATS please
Produced in September 2010.
The accompanying picture shows an illustration by Beato de Liébana, referring to Nebuchadnezzar’s dream of a huge tree which is suddenly cut down at the command of a heavenly messenger.

@Anosh: Everytime I get to read a comment as encouraging as yours I know I did something right, so thanks a lot for stopping by, Scott. All the sounds are derived from purely synthesized sources, even though the 'electronic scream' was inspired by the human voice.

Both the cheekbone and the left arm are also good. Good sound.

@catalogue of wonders: Like I said, this would have to happen in a concert setting. We'll see... Hadn't heard about Eno's 10,000-years project before. I think that's a very nice idea, especially if it doesn't involve any of his recent work with Coldplay. ;-) I'm going to write you soon re: Micro-Phonetics. As always, thanks for your kind feedback, it's very appreciated!

@Phirnis: hello phirnis! this is the day of surprises. limnul just remixed micro phonetics 1 ( wihout me knowing or asking), such a great surprise. and yes, if you want to experiment and extend/ad infinitum (perpetuum mobile) your music, why not? i find your tracks in its shortness really charming and compact. but, like boulez said once, if you want to do it, why don't you? that's a challenge. eno has got a track playing for a years by now and it is supposed to last another 10,000 years, oops! why not? all the great things start with the magical 'if'. if phirnis want, phirnis will do. :)

@catalogue of wonders: As a listener I'm a huge fan of repetitive structures too and I'd love to do something lengthy and repetitive in a live setting one day. To me, my own recorded music makes much more sense if it's short and concise, but still I'd be curious about the way tracks such as this one or 'Fließband' might evolve when basically stretched ad infinitum in front of an actual audience.

lovely work, short sharp and full. Fills my room nicely with a solid feeling object of noise.

how unusual (at least for me!) to listen to this track. for me it is not noise at all. it is music. music that changes - music of changes. the accelarating effect is beautiful. never thought i would like music like this, but i am learning. as usual, the fact it is so short makes it more compact and valuable. it doesn't repeat itself. i, as a lover of repetitie structures, find this track addictive, actually.
