@Anosh: Thanks. This started out as a rather obvious tribute to one of my favourite pieces of noise music. Later in the process, however, it took on a life of its own and seemed like the perfect way to start off this track.

@Phirnis: Well, your tracks really grabbed me by the neck, and I even had to make some sonic experiments inspired by your work (and it turned out pretty well). So thank YOU! : )

@tentaculosound: Thanks for all the kind words, Elias. Have to say I love the idea of these pieces sounding alive and moving, in fact I think that's one of the downright most flattering comments I could hope to receive.

Your noise is so gentle... I know it´s synthetic but I also know that it is alive, and moving.

@Brian Wong: Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Legend has it St. Francis once convinced a haggard wolf of not attacking the residents of an Italian village anymore, so I guess his skills were quite impressive when it came to talking to the animals in general.

Re St. Francis : I wonder, were any of the birds converted, or did they just like the sound of his voice? Excellent piece!

@:¬l: what I really love about it is how it opens up a whole new palette of sounds to choose from, as making choices (as opposed to 'writing' a tune) and constantly being surprised at what can be done is among the things I like best about creating this type of music

Nice work Kai. What I like about granular synthesis is how different people using a similar tool can create so many different types of sound
