When Philosophy Talk goes on the road, the event is hosted by Merle Kessler (aka Ian Shoales, the Sixty Second Philosopher). The program is recorded in segments before a live audience. Between these segments, Kessler reads stories of his own devising, or sings songs co-written with composer J. Raoul Brody and performed as The Plāto'nes. These intend both to have some connection to the topic of the program, and to amuse. They are not part of the final show, as edited for the radio. But they can be heard here.
