Before moving to the nations’ capital from Minneapolis, Goyette spent his youth immersed in music, avoiding the bitter cold of mid-western winters with the warm sounds of electronic music.
Living in the District for the better part of a decade, Goyette has established a solid reputation as a local favorite and has spun with some of the biggest acts from around the world, including Cassy, Juan MacLean, Derrick May, T. Williams, Hot Since 82, and Azari & III, to name a few. His signature sound has also brought him to SXSW in Austin and First Avenue in Minneapolis, as well as, some of the best venues in D.C. including U Street Music Hall (named 2nd best sound system in the country by Beatport) Flash, and countless warehouse spaces across the city.
His biggest accomplishment to date is earning a Saturday residency at the world renowned Eighteenth Street Lounge. Spinning the Gold Room has allowed Goyette the opportunity to spin for hundreds of people each Saturday night and solidify his exceptional selection of house, garage, and techno.
