38 Year old Philbee is hardly a ‘newcomer’ to the DnB scene; his roots growing up were firmly in HipHop and Funk. His career began in the infant stages of jungle and mixing tunes came naturally. Being part of an already vibrant scene in Oxford, PhilBee started to collate his DnB network at many of the infamous free parties.

It wasn’t long before Phil Bee established himself at many events up and down the country, delivering his unique sound and ability as an artist. From the onset PhilBee was playing regularly with ‘Twisted’ , ‘Twisted Sessions’, ‘Vortex’, ‘Fully Loaded’, ‘Liquid Bass’, ‘Summit’, ‘Indelible’ and ‘Subsection’, an impressive line up for someone new to the industry.

Wanting to take his career to a next level and knowing that production was a natural progression, PhilBee Started (with 5 friends) Reformed and went heavy in the studio producing tracks to play to a captive audience, launching his own sound. His production work was instantly recognised and a string of releases followed.

2011/2012, saw new levels to his production skills and his catalogue was being heavily supported by club and radio DJ’s such as Crissy Criss on 1xtra, DJ E, Loxy and Jaybee & his introduction to Ash-A-Tack & The Directors Cut family is where DJ PhilBee finally found his identity and future sound as a artist.
