Phase is the psy alias for Giacomo Martoccia .
Born in eightees in Florence ,he grew in neightees under the electronic influence southern europe lived. .
At the age of 17 he has a first meeting with techno going after few years to interest to psytrance scene.
From 2007 he entered djing in italian parties but he immediately would to give his musical contribution
producing any tracks also with DUST for a project they called "DUST IN FACE".
Solo project has named Phase and it found a label in few months .
As soon as Looneymoon records was interested into his production ,"EBG" and "Two O Ten" has been released in its compilations "Fantasydrop" and "Looneymood" .
After joining Looney ,Phase edited in 2011 AMPLITUDE his first Ep: three different tracks defined in music as genre Psytrance full on underground / Twilight ,with a peculiar research in lead arpeggio ,a soundstyle easily adapting to night and day.
In addiction to editing blasting tunes for other labels in any VA ( Tribal mechanics.Sonica compilation,Keep it surreal+more ) he evolved one
of the most alternative "loonish" style among his label mate producers .

Phase è l'alias in psytrance di Giacomo Martoccia,nato a firenze negli anni 80 e cresciuto nei novanta sotto l'influsso "elettronico" che

il sud europa subì in quegli anni. A 17 anni conosce la tecno e dopo qualche anno a seguire questa passione si sposta alla scena

psytrance ,entrandovi come dj . Immediatamente apporta il suo contributo musicale producendo tracce anche in collaborazione con

DUST , altro artista fiorentino,in un progetto chiamato "DUST IN FACE".
Il progetto solista fu nominato Phase e in poco tempo trovò etichetta.
Non appena la Looneymoon si accorge e interessa della sua produzione,edita "EBG" e "Two o ten" nelle compilation "Fantasy
drop" e "Looney mood"
Dopo essersi unito al team Looney ,Phase realizza nel 2011, l' EP "Aplitude" : tre tracce definibili di genere Psytrance undergrund full on /
Twilight con una ricerca peculiare in fatto di arpeggio di suoni lead ,un sound che si adatta facilmente al giorno e alla notte.
Oltre ad aver realizzato tracce per alcune compilation (come "Tribal mechanics" per Basic algorithm,"Sonica compilation" e "Keep it surreal" per la Pixan etc...) , ha evoluto uno degli stili più alternativi tra quelli dei suoi colleghi Looney .
Phase ha suonato in live in innumerevoli party e festival in tutta l'italia e in gran parte dell'europa conosciuta....
