This is a tune written by Bryan Ciliberto (Pall of a Past World). He wrote it after reading an obituary in the newspaper. It was the first song I actually tried to mix. So it was two steps forward. Two steps back. Swing your partner. Undo that. Learned a lot. Either everybody was very patient or they gave up. Bryan was instrumental (pun intended) in pulling together the musicians for this project.

It is available on my bandcamp page for download.

I had a ton of support on this track:
    Bryan Ciliberto: bass
    Joseph Houck: mandolin Joseph Houck
    Marty Lucas: accordion MLucas
Corinne Lucas: 3 part harmony CorinneBL
Peter Lehndorff: guitar and vocal, arrangement and mixing. Midi tuba, too.
Vinyl sounds: by noisecollector on http://www.freesound.org/ creative commons
Square dance recording: Floyd C. Woodhull from an old Campden Recording.
Thanks also to Bryan Ciliberto and Sam Reynolds for guidance on the mixing.

    Release date: Mar 2, 2012
