The Lo-Fi Scratchy sounds, crappy equipment, pavement staring dudes.
The song Llorando by Rebekah Del Rio popped into my head this week. (Roy Orbison's song Crying in Spanish from the film Mulholland Drive) I remembered it having a sweeping ambient Angelo Badalamenti style orchestration behind it ... but upon listening... it was just an acapella!
I tried to recreate what I heard in my mind.
(I deteriorated the tape of the vocals too ...as it played in my head)

I like what you did with this. I did see this movie but it was almost 10 years ago now, so I only remember snippets. For some reason this reminds me of the ghost story from the anime, Memories.

brilliant. Loved that film and this is how I imagined the soundtrack was also. Ill have to watch it again now! David Lynch films are the closest to reading a book, in that he shows ideas and concepts and your own imagination fills in the gaps, thats what makes books better than films and his films superior to others, and this track shows the imagination flying off also! great reworking!
