    WINTER"S SHORE
    By Leilani Roosman &Nonnymouse
    May 2013
    /////////////////////////////////

    We strolled through the woods one day, my love and I
    To see what we might find in nature's well
    Admire her grand design
    The branches bare and time stood still
    Wave upon wave of fallen leaves lapping the mossy trees
    Hiss and hush as wind wound through
    And down and up around the blue of patchy sky and shadows too
    And murmured tales of spring to come
    Though winter's frozen breath was not yet done.

    We came upon a clearing
    Where sadness lingered weeping
    We heard her voice cry out forlorn
    Her broken heart in two was torn
    My love, my love he warmed my cold cold heart
    And golden glowed the forest.
