PESAWAT, a household name in the Malaysian music scene, has recently launched their debut album entitled ‘Take Off’, after releasing 7 hit singles since 2008. ‘Take Off’ consists of 13 tracks in English and Malay. It was their first hit single ‘Mirage’ that brought them to fame in 2008. Thereafter, they have topped radio charts, won the Best Freakin' Act Award and Song of the Year Award via Hitz.FM & VIMA Awards in 2010 and performed at major music festivals not only in Malaysia, but also in Hong Kong and Indonesia. PESAWAT is also well-known in the region with their six other hit singles - 'Excuse Me', 'Rasional Emosional', 'Bingit', 'Mesti Mau' (the official Twisties theme song) and two of their latest singles - 'Hitam' and 'Brand New Day'. PESAWAT marked their history by being the first band to launch a music video on an airplane in 2009 in collaborations with Channel [v] and Malaysia Airlines. Currently their music is on rotation at radios and tv in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Hong Kong.
