Jamie Johnson and Carl Michaels were young, wide-eyed club kids when they met at the age of 17. They spent their Sunday nights in their hometown in the Philadelphia suburbs at the local dance bars' underage nights, but they never really danced. They would go and listen (after drinking 40s in the Church parking lot) in amazement to the crazy music - a sound they didn't yet know or understand. At the time, the boys didn't know they were embracing anything underground - they just knew they loved dance music.

Their friendship never failed, and well past 30, they have finally gotten their shit together to start making some music. They both spent considerable time djing on the rave and club circuit, only to see it die before their eyes. While Carl was a little too lazy/busy/neurotic to learn the details of intricate music production systems, Jamie shoved it in his face until Carl finally gave in. Now with a new face of dance music upon us, Persons of Interest are prepared to make their mark.

The result is a fantastically unique sound - one that ranges from deep to techy to spacey, funky and driving. As they say in the precinct, look out for the Persons Of Interest.

Look for new releases and remixes on Warmth Recordings and DNA Records Australia coming son.
