The singer sang the harmony in a different tone here but the melody was pretty much the same. I used Melodyne here to change notes to contrast the main vox melody.

I the chorus Melodyne was once again life saver. The chorus has a scale change and therefore there are few notes were challenging for the vocalists. Few notes that were out of scale were adjusted to the right note using Melodyne.

I created several "harmony" vocal tracks here. This is where the Melodyne became handy. The singer, throughout the track sang the same melody. I took the main vox and some of the rejected takes and started moving the parts along pitch to create harmonies. I also stretched the some of the notes she sang as well as changed attack times. Once again, I avoided any quantization on the pitch correction and timing.

I started the vocal track by making small pitch and timing adjustments using melodyne. The pitch adjustments were very minor as the vocalist sinning here is very talented. For timing adjustment I avoided using any quantization because I wanted to have a more natural flow to the vocals.

Also, the vocals come in abruptly without any setup/buildup.. Maybe somehow bring the vocals in softly..??..

I Like the groove! I feel like the intro without the vocals is a bit too long

@k1woods: thanks, plenty of ducking against the kick on main leads.....as you have suggested in the past.
