Sweet arpeggiated synth lines mingle with classic reggae drums at 0'46" and postive dub bass. Timelapse and getting things done. First track from Kabanjak's 'Echoes In The Night' album to be released 17/06/2013 on Pedigree Cuts.

Kabanjak presents his second solo album ‘Echoes in the Night’. A mix of DIY riffs, party breaks, dub and deep roots. With a profound passion for music dating back to a childhood fixation watching faded footage of Jimi Hendrix setting his guitar on fire, Kabanjak has spent decades honing his skills as a musician, producer, remixer, and DJ. With its broad spectrum of haunting melodies, rough riddims, and solid arrangements, spanning from downbeat to hip-hop to dub reggae, Kabanjak lets his music dig its roots deep into the musical underground and grows its branches right up into the sky.

One half of German production and DJ duo Ancient Astronauts, Kabanjak, aka Ingo Moell, gives us a stunning follow-up to his debut 2010 album Tree Of Mystery released on Thievery Corporation’s ESL Music label.

We’re proud to include Kabanjak to our ever-growing roster of ingenious creative artists and musicians. As an artist he brings us his unique sound but blows us away with his musical skills. Indeed, Kabanjak tackles much of the live instrumentation in his songs, playing guitars, bass, drums, keys, kalimba, flute and melodica himself. Take the funky upbeat album opener Chain Reaction which will get any party going or the downbeat hip hop anthem Rise Up or even Alarms + Signals for some bad-ass dub, one thing is sure, this guy knows his stuff!
