Dr. Harold Moody (1882-1947) was a physician from Jamaica who lived and worked on Queens Road Peckham. He was race equality campaigner who established the League of Coloured People in 1931.

This interview was conducted in 1997 with Peckham resident Mr Edward Holdrook (born in 1913) who talks about his fond memories of Dr. Moody. The text is an extract taken from a book held at Southwark Local History Library archive, brought to life by the voice of a student from the Peckham History Project.
