About
Livelooping artist - which means instantly sampling and remixing ones own sound while playing acoustic/electric instruments... or just making any kind of live input noise. It's like doing live electronics without any prerecorded parts. My point is to create the music as I go - pretty much improvising sound as well as music and remix treatments in a process of Instant Composition. I think livelooping can bridge the gap between composer, conductor, musician, DJ and remix artist.
I also compose and produce recordings of music for media post production; typically to be used in television, film, games etc. Licensing is handled by my partner http://amgscandinavia.com/
Besides patching live electronics I also play fretless Harp Guitar, Chapman Stick, Alto Flute, Tenor Sax, EWI and electric Cello. I tend to consider the whole shebang my "meta instrument"; physical/mechanical instruments and knowledge of electronic processing techniques all blur into one fat and messy palette that I use to paint music on the time canvas.
