I stumbled across dance music around late 1989-early 1990 during a Happy Mondays concert in Glasgow. The dj playing there beforehand was paying the acid house sound that was being heard in clubs such as the Hacienda in Manchester & Shoom & Clink Street in London. I then spent the next 2-3 years attending all night raves and clubs across scotland taking in influences like Frankie Bones,Dave Angel,Evil Eddie Richards,Carl Cox,Joey Beltram and Mr C,who where playing the techno sound of that time. Around 1993 i had already decided i wanted to dj and had purchased my own set of technics playing house,techno and taking in more influences along the way like Carl Craig,Stacey Pullen and Theo Parrish and of course the famous trio that is Derrick May,Kevin Saundersan and Juan Atkins. By the late nineties a became settled in the underground tech house scene which was currently being championed by london djs such as Eddie Richards,Terry Francis,Dave Mothersole,Murf Mongtraxx,Nathan Coles,Nills Hess,Richard Grey,Mr C and Layo & Bushwacka,to name but a few. After the millenium i had started to play most of the local clubs & bars across Edinburgh like The Liquid Rooms,The Honeycomb,Calten Studios and The City Cafe along with various house and beach parties across Scotland and London. In 2003 i started to get into production and have been learning the techniques needed to produce high quality dance music. In 2006 i played in Savannha's beach bar(next door to mambos) and the Tantra cafe(next door to space both in Ibiza.Now 2009 i hope to start my own party with local friends in Edinburgh and am currently looking at new venuse to support this night.
