About

DJ, Label Owner, Producer and artist with 11 singles and an album under his belt, 2014 is looking like another busy year for Paul Rudd who is recognised as one of the most creative producers and remixers on the UK House music scene.

Paul started out remixing for Mastermix and quickly knocked up an impressive list including Black Eyed Peas, David Guetta, Michael Jackson, Alexander O’Neil, Daft Punk and David Grey to name a few.

His first official chart release, X-Me, was with US actress Kelly-Anne Lyons on vocals was in early 2011. He followed this up with two more dance floor fillers. Egotastic, a massive summer anthem across Europe and More Amore feat Vivi which was released in November of that year and went on to be shortlisted in the final of the One to Watch category of MTV’s Brand New for 2012 competition.

Paul puts great emphasis on melodies in his productions as he wants to appeal to fans of many different music genres. His catalogue then expanded with Set Me Free 2012, a remake of the memorable 1980s hit with its original singer, Jaki Graham. The music video also featured UK Supermodel Louise Cole and ran exclusively on VeVo, gaining more than a 125K hits in the first day alone.

Next came ‘Neon Lights’. Richard Oliver supplied the vocals and was best known for his morning jingles on the iconic Chris Moyles’ Radio 1 Breakfast Show. Within a month the buzz around them spread noticeably so Paul hit out with 'Control Me', a track very different from his other songs, but one that went on to do very well on the EDM scene.

‘Out Of My Mind’ in October 2012 had support from Kiss FM, The Wideboys, Dave Pearce, Freemasons and Pete Gooding amongst others, which lead Paul to play around the world at numerous venues including with Hed Kandi in Ibiza, Majorca, the French Alps, Greece, Poland, New York and the Dominican Republic.

His debut album ‘The Sound of London’ was released in 2012 and the next single 'Trust In Me' featured ‘The Voice of World Dance’ Amanda Wilson. The single went No1 in the US Fusion Radio Charts twice on 2 separate weeks, peeked at No6 in the UK Club Charts, No9 in the UK Commercial Pop Charts and TOP 40 in the European Club/Dance charts in 17 countries.

Following on from this massive success Paul remixed for the Freemasons ‘Bring It Back’ with a worldwide release on their label Freemaison. Paul is also in talks with his US Actor namesake on a collaboration after the Hollywood A-Lister made it known in an interview with the BBC that he would be keen for them to make a single together.

Paul then released the single ‘Wake The World Tonight’ with Sam Calver on vocals had support from the likes of Gareth Emery, Dave Pearce, Seb Fontaine, Andi Durrant, Markus Shultz to name a few.

Searching Ft Chloe Mills was released in Feb 2014 and peaked in the Music Week Club Charts at No.4 & No.8 in the Commercial Pop Chart. The video which went viral reached the Beat100 World Chart No.3 slot and No.1 in their Dance Chart and also went to No.6 in the US Fusion Charts.

Paul rereleased 80’s Legend Bruce Hornsby’s track ‘The Way It Is 2014’. The first time the single has been remixed in nearly 12 years since TuPac. Released in June and had huge support from the likes of Kiss FM UK, Danny Lee, DMC Buzz Chart, Cutmore to name a few. Reaching No.4 in the Music Week Club Charts and & No.8 in the Commercial Pop Chart.

Paul is currently appearing on selected international DJ gigs whilst touring as special guest for P&O Cruises in the summer and in the US planned for later this year. He is always locked up in the studio, experimenting with new sounds in order to bring out original cool tracks. His next single ‘Night & Day’ is due for release in September with remixes from VIP, Studio7 and David Noakes.
