Paulie_p first got hold of a set of decks second-hand from a friend back in 1999, and ever since then he’s been passionate about DJing and the electronic music scene. His taste in music began with trance, but quickly branched out into many other genres including house, breaks, techno, drum & bass, jazz, hip-hop, dubstep, disco and future soul.

Currently, Paul’s style is based firmly in the deepest music around. His sound spans over genres and tempos from blissful laid back house to pulsating techno, melodic dubstep to dubby disco bombs. His sets always keep deep to the core.

However, Paul's style is not to be pinned down and is always on the move. New and exciting artists influence the way he thinks about music, helping him push forward as a DJ by injecting fresh sounds into his sets.

A former resident of the deep house/techno night 'Music for tea parties' (Now defunct) for the last 3 years, Paul moves on with his experience to a new Southampton night 'Saudade soundsystem' a night formed around underground dj's playing the music they love, to a responsive and knowledgeable crowd. Recent gigs include playing the infamous high-hide boat party, Orangerooms, and Bristol based charity events 'Pigpensocial'.
