P@ SPLIT (for now), Patrick McLaughlin, began producing music in 2003 with simple hip-hop riddims using ACID 4.0 and Fruity Loops. Since his move in 2005 to Rochester, New York he has become enthralled with electronic music because of the likes of DJ Steven Kraft (stevenkraft.com), Dijon (dijon.soulrebels.com) & DJ Sensio (Physics Music). In late 2007, P@ found Ableton Live 6 and fell in love. He began producing using this wonderful tool and hasn't looked back since. Recently he has began focusing his sound and refining his skills. With still a long way ahead of him, P@ hopes to one day make great music that reflects human emotion and involuntarily inspires dance.
