A native of Wetzlar/ Germany, Patrick Decke got already excited for Electronic Dance Music at a very early age. He didnt get start out with turntables and traditional mixing desks immediately but got in touch with various digital programs instead, which enabled him to develop a feeling for timing and precision. As soon as he turned 18, he was captivated by various underground clubs like the legendary "U60311" in Frankfurt, which influenced him over the course of many visits. The actual kickstart to his inspiration was undoubtedly the first visit of Sven Väths Techno temple, the "Cocoon-Club" in Frankfurt, where he witnessed the legend playing for the first time.
After a little while of rehearsing and honing his skills on his own turntables, Patrick soon received his first bookings in the local area- but soon after already at famous clubs like the "Ebene 3" in Wetzlar or the "Tanzhaus West" in Frankfurt, where he played the popular style of driving percussive Techno at this time.
By the end of 2008 he got his first gig at a huge event, where he played next to radio host and label owner Tom Wax. This event was repeated in 2009, gaining Patrick a lot of attention.
Patrick's sound has developed over the years and is currently all about colorful music, ranging from Tech-House to Progressive-House. He doesnt want to be known for just one distinctive style, his approach is different: "I don't want to commit myself to just one aspect oft the music, my sound is varied- sometimes it gets louder, sometimes quieter. At times more colourful and „in your face“, at times more hypnotic and trippy… it depends on pleasure and mood, which is the foundation for me to make music. There will always be surprises."
Until the end of 2011 Patrick played at trendy nightclubs in many different regions like the "Glashaus Center" in Worbis, the "New Basement" in Wiesbaden, the "Larry Brend Club" in Kassel and multiple times at the legendary "U60311" in Frankfurt. Furthermore, he participated in the national „Envy My Music“ contest and finished the competition coming in at a solid 4th place.
He started to produce his own tracks in 2011 and is scheduled to have his first release out in december 2012.
Theres more to come from this young man who will certainly leave an impression whenever his music is heard.
