Patricia Walsh is a multi-media artist creating reflective and atmospheric sound pieces, video works and photographs. The photographic exhibition Faith, Hope and Charity Shops is currently showing at the Adelphi Gallery, University of Central Lancashire, Preston.
Selected video works have been screened nationwide on the BBC Big Screens, UK.
She is a member of Robert Voisey's Vox Novus 60x60 and also a member of Soundnetwork.
FlashBack is part of the 60x60 International Mix 2011 and was recently heard at The Sheldon, St Louis, Missouri.
DUST was part of Sonic Vigil V Festival, St. Fin Barre Cathedral, Ireland in 2010 and was also aired at Bureau Gallery, Manchester, 2011.
ShadowPlay appears on the Audio CD Soundtrack For A Mersey Tunnel by Alan Dunn in an edition of 433, February 2008. A limited edition compilation inspired by the 2'33" minutes spent under the River Mersey on the 433 bus, featuring new soundworks recorded in the Mersey Tunnels and their surrounds, Liverpool, UK.
UNDERCOVER was seen and heard at the Galapagos Club, Brooklyn, New York 2008. Choreography by Pascal Rekoert.
Her sound work Vanishing Act is included on Soundnetwork's 'Sound Report II MADEUP' CD, 2008, curated by Daniel Barratt.
