Wicked groove , the vocal on the second drop really pulls it all together . sounds very fresh but with a nod to past with the 808.

@Patrice Bäumel: yep, thats my approach as well. for remixes i usually look for a short loop from the original and and then build it up from this point. sometimes when everything is warped correctly, i speed it up or down by a half tone to change the tempo (repitch). grüße aus dresden:)

@pandren: hard to say in a few words. just play around with it and as soon as something interesting happens, capture that and take it from there. let accidents happen. work with lots of samples instead of synth presets, often it sounds more surprising. as for remixes, load your remix part into ableton and make sure to warp (beatmatch) them properly, then just improvise. there's no formula, ableton is a very open tool, everybody i know has their own way of working with it.

@Patrice Bäumel: Have to admit that I'm a bit of a rookie here. Any advice and/or tip how to get things done with Ableton?

Nice job man. I like the reverb in the highs, and sweet melodies.

@pandren: I just use ableton. Works perfectly...

Great remix! A bit curious... What tools do you use to remix?

Sweet Remix, like sugar. Allthough I don't like those vocals.

this is really nice. sounds almost like your dub version for a depeche mode song.
