About
Pardon My French are a duo of Bristol based beat obsessives who spin House, Disco and intuitively delve into the aforementioned genres’ deep, tech, italo and slow jam variations. They’ve been mates since childhood and after forming PMF in 2009, the demand for their sets has taken them to clubnights and festivals all over the UK and abroad.
In the early days, Pardon My French functioned as DJs for a day time radio show with a zero tolerance policy on dirty talk. It wasn’t going to be a smoothest beginning for these miscreants, but from their incessant obligation to excuse their language, a pretty catchy moniker was hatched.
Launching their series of Bristol based Club Cosmique parties back in 2010, Pardon My French didn’t waste too much time, with the likes Bicep, Azari & III, Space Dimension Controller, Dam Funk and Tim Sweeney gracing the clubnight with their presence. Alongside booking the artists who stand at the top of their dream line-up lists, the boys embraced the rude health of Bristol’s burgeoning house scene by inviting local producers and DJs to play at their aptly titled Pardon My Friends night, a monthly residency at one of the city’s most favoured underground haunts, The Bank of Stokes Croft.
Pardon My French have been sporadically contributing mixes to Kiss FM for sometime now and they’re proud to announce a weekly Friday night residency at the station. Much like their DJ sets diverse, the mouth-watering track listings should convince some serious re-play action.
