Yeah for all the BS with Chimera, the little thing sounds damn nice - and plays nice with the modular.

I love this vocal ending to the piece.

chimera, bc-8, electronic, noise, modular, synth, synthesizer, bc8

I recently borrowed a Chimera BC8 from my bassist Bret, and recorded a bit of my first time really getting to know it. Of course I sent it through my modular! :sb:

BC8 is fed into the Blacet I/O. Envelopes from the I/O influence a Serge VCS and Blacet EG1 (which are cross-patched) which control STG Wave Folder distortion index, Wiard Borg 2 frequency, and Blacet VCO pitch. BC8 audio is also FMing the VCO. I/O gate out activates the VCS and trigger out plucks the Borg 2 (which is in VCA mode). VCO and BC8 are sub-mixed and sent to Wave Folder and Borg 2.
