Steven Scarcello, aka Paractazor (Prounouced Par-act-uh-zoar) is a solo producer from Idaho. Paractazor focuses his style on earth-shattering drums, and mind-melting bass. This contrasts the softer melodies often used to build up power in a song before the drop. While gritty and filthy, Paractazor has a unique funk to his style. Pegging him into one genre, however, is very challenging. Some describe his work as glitch-hop. Others call it dubstep, or electro. Artists Paractazor has been described as range from The Glitch Mob, to Feed Me, Pretty Lights, and Robert Jenkees.
Paractazor is a self taught pianist, who has surprised many with some of his piano solo compositions. This talent is visible in nearly every one of his works. From guitar solos, to piano melodies, to funky leads it is obvious that he has acheived a high level of music sophistication.
Paractazor has a short EP out on iTunes, Amazon MP3, and pretty much everywhere else. Be sure and pick this release up! He is also working on recording a new album, the beginnings of which can be heard on this page. Future releases include multiple collaborations, and a compilation album featuring artists from across the nation.
Praise for Paractazor:
"Everything Paractazor touches seems to be instantly transformed by his profound musicality and deeply evocative melodic orchestration" -dubstep.net
"Complete with complex melodies, razor sharp synths, and heavy drums and bass, Paractazor is definitely a name to look out for in the future." -thissoundgoesaround.com
