PandaPuffer's love for waveforms stems back to 1980 - with vivid memories of three albums that had a lasting impact on a tiny little kid: Spirits having flown by the Beegees, The Game by Queen and Rappers Delight by the Sugar Hill Gang. Still love 'em 30 years later!

Listening to dozens of great artists influenced his songwriting: plenty production elements, harmonies and preferably melodic backing tracks and vocals. You might find some sort of young adult idealism too … wanting to express something that’s true and kind of human.

PandaPuffer would probably be classified in categories Pop, Pop Rock, Blue-Eyed Soul , Synth Pop. Others say it sounds 70ish/80ish - hinting at genres, we just try to make music that lands between the known boundaries and finds it's own identity.
