About
In 1998 Pal + began his musical adventures in Lisbon when he acquired a Roland MC 505 Groovebox and after listening for the first time the record "Dig Your Own Hole" by the Chemical Brothers.
In 1999 he moved to Faro (Algarve) and continued his musical productions with a computer and Reason software. He produced several songs always with the desire to innovate and be original. True to himself never followed music trends, because its aim is to make music that doesn´t fit in any formatted genre.
He had some projects with other people and played live with them.
From 2002 to 2005 Pal + had a residence as a Dj in "Ovelha Negra" where he also did some live acts in its own name.
Inspired by his childhood memories and field recordings, in 2007 he composed several songs inspired by people´s names and expressed personal feelings and ghosts associated with his day life as an observer of the world around him.
In 2010 he decides to incorporate on his music, vintage analog synthesizers and adopted a more retro style. Inspired by the nostalgia of the 70´s and 80´s he composed songs like "Cosmos" and "1982." The melody and the possibility of creating various atmospheres and emotions is the most important factor in his latest productions.
For him music is about dedication, work, passion and honesty. He wants to be unique in everything he does and doesn´t care to go the hard way...
