BIO:
Oxum (aka Egun). Was born in Mexico City. At age nine, he started his interest for electronic sounds; do to the musical influence he obtained from his family and friends. Three years later he decides to formally introduce himself to the world of electronic music. At age 15, he starts to professionally play in some local parties; playing tracks from artists like, The Chemical Brothers, Seb Fontaine, Anthony Pappa, Mauro Picotto, Josh Wink, Joey Beltram and others.
Some years later he starts to have a more active participation in the electronic scene of his country, sharing stage with national artists like: Fixo, Dig-it and Sintoma and, international artists like, Alan Fitzpatrick. In 2011 he receives the invitation to participate on radio shows of United Kingdom, like “The Difference” by Stevie Wilson, Symmetrical Madness with Dexter Overclock Feed The Raver with Craft (NYC) and many more. That same year, he was invited to form part of the Fnoob Radio (UK) with a podcast; Were he had great international guests, such as: Submerge, A.Paul, Ricardo Garduno, Andres Gil, Vegim, Conrad Van Orton, Unam Zetineb and, many more.
In 2013 he is invited to form part of Techno Resistencia, which is, one of the oldest collectives in the techno scene in Mexico formed by many great talents like: Sintoma, founder of the collective, Fixon, Dig-it, Komprezzor, Erik Yahnkovf, Fonotecnia, Ramiro Puente and, others.

Oxum is a serious project that looks to transmit the passion for techno music. He was influenced at the beginning for genders like the High Energy, Indie, Industrial and Hard House. Now he is looking to show the lineal form an obscure and sick Techno, with prolonged and crude atmospheres.
