@therealmarkstarr: N, i know what you mean man, I'm the same way, like to just have fun! I can't put a genre really on any of my tracks, just call it whatever i think others would call it. @Electric Gordon: Just because it has similar sounds doesn't make it trap. It also has the same type of sounds used in true electro breaks from the 80s and 90s, ala artists like Dynamix II, Cybotron, etc, and its also produced at 128bpm, which isn't common for what people are calling "trap". I respect the genre a ton, but, my remix is not trap. I don't play trap in any of my sets. I am a tech house/booty-tech dj ala the styles closer to dirtybird records. The roland 808 has been a part of music in multiple guises since its birth! It's a beautifully diverse instrument that has found its way into many styles of music. The UZ remix on this release is def more of what people would call "trap", while I'd say my remix leans more towards a more minimal electro breakbeats meets modern day booty-tech. :) Or just electronica. Really, I just like to have fun...and not really box myself into anything in particular. Hope you enjoy :) and feel free to check my other stuff out. Thanks everyone!
