We are a two man studio band. Paintree and I. We try to be serious in fairly ironic ways with this type of stuff, hope that's what we achieve. So here's our first attempt at creating punk, although it derives a lot from metal. Drums are programmed, bass is programmed (once I have the money for a bass, that will change), guitar is real enough (Peavey Predator custom strat style guitar) and obviously the vocals are real enough too.

    Paintree - Vocals, composing, lyrics

    [Verse 1]
    Digitize the flow of power
Rip the petals from the flower
    Purity is Charon’s price
The truth died with “we’ll play nice”
Mind and heart are out of touch
What did we lose? “Nothing much”
    Molestation? Not as such –
    Rusted childhoods, filthy touch

    Guns, knives and baby dolls
    Anthrax, lust and pious souls
    Leave Nevada, black winds blow

    [Verse 2]
Drop the words and trace the light
    Trickle-down? Just not at night.
Stumps of fingers, block our sight
Innocence dashed, so hold on tight
    Christmas Night, city of rust
We’ll stop destroying if we must
A filthy pageant, red with lust
It looks like gold and it tastes like dust

    [Verse 3]
East of Jesus, west of none
Paint the cities and then some
First we name the heroes unsung
Fly the flags, and then we’re done
