Michael Engel was born on June 7th, 1994 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. At the age of 7 years he moved with his family to a small city, named Zierikzee.
When Michael was still a kid, he listened for hours to names as: Tiesto, Sander van Doorn & Klubbheads. At the age of 13, Michael began producing many types of music. He learned all kind of styles such as progressive house, electro house, tech-house, latin-house, dubstep & hip-hop . But his love for music was always the genre where he always listened to as a kid. Michael started at a young age with learning to play the guitar.

He started to save money for buying his first home studio. His friends quickly noticed that he got a great talent for making House music. A good friend of Michael’s came also up with the name 'Overtracked '. The name which he goes through life this day as a EDM artist. Overtracked started out with doing a bootleg of the band Red Hot Chilli Peppers ‘Otherside’. Many blogs and promoters noticed his bootleg and his ‘Otherside’ bootleg was even played in ‘De Kuip’ (Feyenoord Stadium Rotterdam) His music is inspired by the likes of Afrojack, Avicii, Moguai and Nicky Romero. His bootlegs were played thousands of times on YouTube.

At the age of 17, he signed his first track ‘Monsters’ on a Label. Monsters was picked up by many famous DJs across the globe. Even DJ BL3ND sent a personal mail to Michael:
‘Hi Michael, nice track bro. Send me any upcoming new stuff you work on. Make more dutch song with crazy beats. Perhaps I can release on Lokosound if it turns out to be a good enough song.’
More recently, the 18 year old dj/producer has been very busy in the studio and working on some new stuff. He has collaborated a lot with Lugar and signed at Carlos Barbosa’s management (First Class Music.).
