Deep in the underground of Chicago, USA--the birthplace of house
music--Ellery Cowles and Ren Van Leer have joined forces to create the
duo Our Projects. With over 35 years combined experience, these
talented veteran DJ's and producers have worked with numerous labels
throughout the years, including Djax, Hybrid, Black Nation, Saber
Records, Soiree Records, Dust Trax, Nocturnal Noize, Deep Fried
Records, and Abicah Soul.
Our Projects embrace a diversity of influences to deliver
uncompromising deep house music. They are known to layer sexy synths
over driving drum beats, to create irresistable grooves that make
listeners want to shake, dance and jack all night long. Tracks like
"feel it in your soul", "real men cry". and "open space" demonstrate
their sonic mastery and the passion they bring to their production.
