Game audio from the 1988 Oklahoma State Cowboy Football campaign, highlighted by the unforgettable season of Heisman Trophy winner Barry Sanders.

Bob Barry and Tom Dirato call the action from Lewis Field in the Cowboys' in-state match-up with the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. Barry Sanders followed up on his superb performances in the first two games of the season by delivering his most productive game yet. Sanders rushed for 304 yards, breaking Thurman Thomas' school record, and scored five rushing touchdowns to tie a Big Eight Conference record.

While the A&M game was considered Barry's national coming out party, it was perhaps this game that cemented the perception of Sanders as the best player in the country.

OSU jumped out to a 27-0 halftime lead, and went on the defeat TU by a score of 56-35. After three games, OSU was 3-0 and Barry Sanders had rushed for 639 yards with 11 total touchdowns.
