J.Shore - Before this track came together, there were two unfinished drum'n'bass drafts which we decided to try to combine - one had White Birds' guitar theme as a melody and one had the strings. It took a bit of patience to get those two work together, but in the end it seemed to be worth it. When White Birds was still just a draft we thought it might work pretty well on the dancefloor - an assumption which Heikki L & Tom Fall later proved correct.

Orion - Jacob Henry from Silk Recordings saw White Birds' potential right after the first listen and wanted it to be released as one of the album singles. He had a good ear - White Birds became the most successful single release of Brotherhood with really great remixes from Tom Fall & Heikki L. Armin van Buuren opened nearly all of his tour shows in Australia/Asia in Nov/Dec 2011 with Tom's remix. I think all the remixers have done amazing job with the album tracks - turning 160bpm chill-out/drum'n'bass track into a dance floor friendly proghouse/trance tune isn't one of the most straight-forward remixing tasks.
