Inside each of us, there are echoes of antiquity. It whispers while bringing us back to the time when all that was important was honored and respected by everyone.
Hearing the echoes of his parents, they reach out as a manifestation of musical parallels. Do not try to grasp them, for that would defeat their purpose. No, it is much more sweet to allow the syncopation of the drums to flow, to create atmosphere around ones abode, thus allowing the sacred past to become the inescapable moment we call now.
Shaking in the trees, rustling, perhaps even calling, there is dance and song. Echoes and rhythm, a creation of the gathering. Ancient soil standing firm, chants, rain drops, fresh waterfalls and deep wells, we hail you. Universal guides, ancient tides, vintage wood and happy people.
He is hunched over his drums, attached to them. Watch him play, but only hear echoes. Playing the drum, feeling the atmosphere. Somewhere, sometime, you knew what it was like to grasp the soil in your fingers. Textures of the old clay. Watch as it slowly dissipates... into microscopic grains of sand. Watch it vanish, listen to it's echoes.
“Drops of water, mighty oceans...grains of sand, great mountains”.
