Ophelia Cache was born Gabrielle Miller, on July 22, 1989 in Denver, CO.
Ever since she was in the womb, Ophelia was surrounded by the love of music. While pregnant, her mother sang to her constantly, and Ophelia unknowingly took in the songs of Diana Ross and The Temptations as her first intelligible sounds. At the tender age of 4 she began to sing in her church choir. As she grew older, her passion in music increased tremendously.
A classically trained clarinetist, pianist and percussionist—Ophelia uses her voice as her most dangerous instrument amongst her repertoire. Influenced by Jazz, hip-hop and all things soul---she delivers classic emotion accompanied by a striking modern instrumentation that is so hard to find in today’s generation of music. Ophelia is the seductive lounge singer gone rogue pop…with a dash of hip-hop…a sonically sweet amaretto for the ear’s drinking pleasure.
Ophelia Cache is currently living in New York City recording her debut EP titled “All Things Blue”
