The development of his unique style is the result of a lifetime of musical influence. NIN, Alec Empire, RJD2, Aphex Twin, and Automator, from Kraftwerk to Charlie Parker to El-P, via George Clinton, DJ Shadow, and a plethora of eighties beat pop. His first foray into music came when he started playing jazz on his saxophone in the early 1990’s.

Composing gritty, noise filled beats laced with industrial, punk and hip-hop sounds, Oopz creates tracks like a fevered zombie Mozart on a mission to put an edge back into hip-hop.
