About
My name is Olav Aunet. I'm a 22 year old musician and everything I post is written and recorded by myself in my bedroom. I have very little equipment and am still a fairly new song writer, but it's enough to get my ideas out there. For now I'll just be posting a bunch of lo-fi demos and pieces of songs I've started or am in the middle of working on. Everything posted so far has been mixed through some cheap headphones, but I recently bought some AKG K702's so that should help make the quality of my mixes a little better. I work in a very ADD kind of way, so I tend to write pieces of songs instead of finishing them right away. Personally for me it worked better to get an albums worth of strong ideas instead of doing one song at a time. Plus I find it much easier going back and finishing a song that's already started and has a mood to it, rather then coming up with something out of thin air. Anyways, until I have all my songs written and recorded with proper gear, you'll most likely only hear "work in progress" material and perhaps that odd crappy demo.
I don't know how long it will take, but I do plan to have a whole album recorded one of these days. Once I finish writing and get all the demos recorded, I'll rerecord them to make sure every performance is perfect. I'll do all the recording and mixing in my bedroom and then I'll send the music to Abbey Road Online Mastering so that they will be more professional sounding. Once that is all complete I will be sure to post all the song on here and other websites and probably send out CD's to multiple record labels.
WISH ME LUCK!
