Onur hails all the way from Turkey's Aegean coast, from a wonderful place called Karsiyaka. Although music has been a part of his life since childhood, he caught the electronic fever after attending a rave with his cousin.
When he first moved to NYC., inspired by the city's sounds, he got into Dj’ing. By that time he knew he had to play for anyone, from friends and lovers to total strangers. With roots in house music, he would later go on to perfect his unique mix of electronica, deep house, tech house, techno and break beat. His sets infuse a strange blend that is immediately recognizable. Masterfully combining his NYC escapades with his native culture of the Aegean, these sets soundtrack his hectic life. From NYC’s Harlem to the underground culture of his hometown, Onur’s influences shine through his sets, always unpredictable and full of surprises. Never the one to choose the “safe” way, Onur is bold and open to experimenting with various moods and states of mind.
