"Tomorrows Child" is written in the hope that our children will learn from our mistakes, and make a better job of looking after the world we live in.
I hope that they will be less interested in materialism and more focused on caring for one another, helping others. It is our responsibility to help them achieve this, but giving them a peaceful world to grow and develop in so they can learn to love and help other people.

This song is composed / written by Matt Baker and John Styles, and although it’s released as an instrumental version now, we’re also going to add vocals and more instruments to it with our band Euphoriqa

All instruments: Matt Baker & John Styles
Arrangements and production: John Styles

Cover design: Ralf Reichelt

Lyrics:

A tear rolls down a dusty cheek
A little face that’s lost its smile
A painful look deep in those eyes
What horrors have you survived?

Look to me now, I’m here for you
I’ll keep you safe away from harm
Dry your eyes and let me comfort you

Little child the future belongs to you
This World will be yours one day
Learn to love and share the things you have
Learn to laugh, be happy and free

Helping others, when times are tough
Do your best to show you care
Joining hands, this World Unites
Helping children sleep in peace tonight

Tomorrow’s child should live without fear
Left alone to grow in peace
Tomorrow child be happy and free
Make this world a better place to be

We have to help them, starting today
To live together, enjoy each day
Tomorrow child be happy be free
Make this World a better place to be

Tomorrow’s child should live without fear
Left alone to grow in peace
Tomorrow child be happy and free
Make this world a better place to be
