Hi I am Alex and a drummer/producer.
Since I was young I played and listened to music.
On my 6th I got my first music class and after that I started more music classes like guitar and piano.
I wanted to improve myself and started to learn drums by myself and other instruments.
My goal was to go to the Music Academy here in Holland to be a proffesional guitar player.

Then in july 2008 my world collapsed.
I got diagnosed with cancer, bone cancer in my left upper arm.
A long way of treatment with chemotherapy started.
After 10 weeks I got the hardest news I've ever heard... My arm had to be amputated to save my life!
After the operation I got treated with chemo untill february 2009.

From the moment I was free of cancer I tried to search solutions to play music again.
I found videos on Youtube of a one handed drummer and a base player.
It was an inspiration for me and I started to collect money to buy an electronic drumkit and a base guitar.
At this moment I can play these instruments with only one arm.

Since 2010 my interest went to an other side of music.
The producing, recording and mixing side.
It started with recordings of vocals with a good friend.
This year [2011] I did an audition for an education "E-musician" on the Music Academy here in the Netherlands.
It is an education were you can study for producer/dj/mixing- and studio engineer etc..
It was a new, and only, chance to go to the Music Academy.
In less then a week I got the letter that I was selected for this Education.
Since a make music with one arm, I'm better known as ONEARMED.

That's a little bit of my story of what I've been trough.
My goal is to make music professionally and let the whole world hear my music.
