Medline is a musician, beatmaker and DJ from Rennes, France with roots in Chile. Born Orlando Diaz Corvalan, Medline calls his music brown music - a mix of afro, latin, funk and jazz with a hip-hop state of mind.

With his first project for MPM he is paying tribute to the jazz funk originators. If you liked Medline's take on the Stylistics classic „People Make The World Go Round“ (on our comp „MPM 2012 -Where The Wild Creatures Meet“) then you might also dig his new 45 single „Everybody Loves The Sunshine“ with Roni Alkekengi on vocals. Full album is coming this fall and yes, everything on his record is played live.

Fresh bruk remix of a classic. I've heard a few different remixes of this tunes and they usually involve a lazy breakbeat and not much else, nice to see someone messing with the tempo and taking the track to the dance floor..

Unfortunately Hayden, people ignorant of good things to eat are happy to eat fast food! There same goes for the music! let the haters eat poorly and enjoy the homemade taste of this kind of remix! great respect to perpetuate the love of Roy Ayers music through this beautifull remix

To you nasty barracudas taking a stab at this remix, of all the mountains of shit out there uploaded by a million half assed producers making beats with their laptop keyboard - and you choose this to criticise. Real musicians going into the studio to breath life into an old classic. Whether you like this version or not, you can hear the hard work and sincerity that has gone into it.

Agree with Daddy Bones & Timothy Blake.

Please don't make anymore remixes where you completely destroy any resemblance of good sound..
