Oli Frances is a name that you will start to become familiar with very soon. This rising 24 year old DJ and producer from Blackpool had no choice about breaking into the house music scene. As second generation DJ, when the other kids were listening to the Spice Girls and Boy Zone, Oli grew up listening his dad spin Jazz infused house and deep groovy basslines.
There aren't many people in any dance music scene who can DJ and produce equally well. This rare talent requires more than just computer programmer like knowledge of music production software, or a mastery of turntables and CDJ's. These select few individuals who are equally gifted in both fields are fuelled by a love for the music and a deep understanding of what works on a dance floor. Oli Frances just happens to be one of these individuals. His talent has not gone unnoticed and he is proving to be a very popular booking, spinning regularly for respected nights such as Sub Sono, Edit and Kaluki in venues such as Bar 137, Werehouse and the famous Sankeys. Following his debut release ' Central Drive EP ' following worldwide Oli Frances has gained support from the likes of Mark Farina, Hippie Torrales, Moodymanc, Laurent Garnier & Greg Fenton.
His sets are driven by a raw 90's sound. Chugging basslines, uplifting vocal samples, grooves, anything to get the dance floor moving.
