Sameer J , an electronic dance music artist from India , started off as a DJ and quickly moved into music production.He began to make music which led to his first International Release with Andromeda Recordings(USA). He was later invited to host a radio show titled “ELECTRO RISING” with the reputed ODU FM based in Chicago.



In 2009 he was the ONLY asian artist to reach the finals of Holly
wood Actor/Rapper LL Cool J “Tribute Remix Competition” and went on to win the title of “Best Dance Remix”.

His remixes have gained global airplay in London (Kick FM), New York , Chicago, Singapore, Argentina, Brazil etc.



In India he composed a track for the Tamil Album “Namma Chennai” and has also had the pleasure to remix a track for White Label.



On the International Circuit, under the alias SMR his track “Chinese Fables” was released by System Recordings (USA) , which is a host to some of the top electronic music artists worldwide.



Other record labels he is associated with includes, Worldwide Records (Romania), Melodic Records(USA) , FineGrind Audio (Canada) etc.
