NANCY WILSON: Once we started touring, we struggled to find extended time to take off to write. So we began taking a reel-to-reel with us when we did soundchecks, and we worked on new songs. Mike Flicker recorded this demo at a soundcheck one day. You can really hear Elton John’s influence on Ann’s singing on this song. We were both totally gone for Elton in that era. She’s almost flirting with an Elton accent as she sings this.
