Born and raised in Nottingham England, Womprat started out behind the decks playing Nu Skool breaks and DnB. It was only natural when producing dubstep, elements of the two were included. This gave birth to a dark techy style with noises firing out of retro synths, upbeat rhythms and no nonsense bass lines.
Now based in Sydney Australia, Womprat is continuously writing and gets regular plays on Sub.fm, Dubstep.fm, Dubsteppers Delight, The Bassbin and most recently on Starkey’s Seclusiasis and Dank Dealz Radio shows. Tipped for big things in 2009, Womprat is definitely one to watch.
