Iròi is Pietro Iannuzzi, an italian "not musician". He comes from the extreme south of italian peninsula. His first musical memory is a music-box of Beethoven's "For Elise" going on and on... Although he does not play instruments, he soon starts composing music on his laptop in his bedroom, influenced by electronic music and post rock, and experimenting new musical forms. His sense for melodies is immediate, and he puts his efforts in comibining experimetal approaches with the traditianl song structures. The result sees a deeply melancholic electronic texture struggling with the urgency to transmit feelings.
