Founder and captain of Octopus Recordings,Sian's vision for the label and company have shaped a small but quickly established crew that now sits both atop the Beatport charts and on the main radio and club DJs setlists.Focusing intently on the wonkier more experimental side of big room techno, and constantly pushing the limits of big speaker weirdness. This ep cements the labels attitude and high grade aesthetics, the title track has drum thud and massive synth samples attacking from all angles, with that unforgettable vocal sample, recorded late one night secretly with one of Sian's close friends, she is stating "You should do tracks from things that people say",so he did.
Across the whole ep midnight freakiness meets dance floor functionality,Sian has all guns blazing on this crammed full monster edition ep..and then of course the gigantic remix by Italian techno master Mauro Picotto with Riccardo Ferri takes the original of "Dangerous Liaisons" to more laid back peak time territory, typical of Mauro's clinical precision and killer production values.Indeed an important milestone release for us,the label boss has set the bar even higher again.
