Finbar Dodd AKA Occular has been in to psychedelic Trance for about 4 years and has been djing and producing for 5. Getting started he was making Dubstep and Drum and Bass but was not a fan of the party scene. Soon after he discovered psytrance and some parties in Bristol like Tribe of frog and Ninja Hippies and immediately made the change to djing Psytrance.
After playing a few parties he got to know a few people in the trance scene in bristol and met Steven 'Psycode' Woodog who helped him gather music and sign Occular as Label Dj to his new bristol based label 'Woodog Rec.' Soon after this he started making night time psytrance with a heavy bag of determination to get noticed in the scene producing a similar groove to his Dj sound. Occular soon got to know the Tribe of Frog crew in bristol who gave him his first break in playing in legendary Club Lakota and since then has played in every room playing all styles of music from Techno, electro, Break and psytrance.

Occular is now compiling his live set to play over the summer and with a few releases in the pipeline it should be an interesting year!
